How to access TFP Fertility services with AXA

If you think you're eligible for AXA, you can follow the below steps:

1. Contacting AXA and TFP Fertility

If you are an AXA member you will need to contact AXA directly to obtain your claim reference and membership number.

When you have your claim reference and membership number, call TFP Fertility to register your patient account. We will also ask you some questions like your name, address and date of birth.

2. We'll call you to book an appointment

When we've confirmed your information is correct with AXA Health, we will call you to arrange your first appointment.

3. Fertility assessment

The first appointment we will arrange for you is your fertility assessment. This assessment will provide an overview of your fertility health. This typically includes an ovarian assessment for females and a semen analysis for males.

4. Initial consultation

After the assessment, one of our fertility experts will review your results and suggest any treatments or lifestyle changes that may enhance your chances of a successful pregnancy. Together, you'll decide on a personalised treatment that works for you.

5. Tell AXA your treatment plans

After your initial consultation, and depending on your level of cover, you must now contact AXA Health to provide your treatment planning notes for approval.

Please call TFP Fertility when you have submitted your treatment plan to AXA Health, so we can authorise this for you on your patient record.

6. Your fertility treatment

Once your treatment has been decided, you'll begin your treatment. You'll attend a nurse planning appointment, where we will provide guidance and teach you how to administer your medication.

7. Ongoing support

If you have any questions or concerns, our Patient Support team is always available to support you.

You'll also be able to keep track of your appointments on our Patient Portal.

8. If there are changes in your treatment plan

For any additional treatment or amendments to your original treatment plan, your TFP Fertility clinic must contact AXA Health prior to treatment being carried out to confirm whether the additional treatment is covered. If it is not covered, you may be responsible for payment on a private basis.
