Hjalmar Heijman

My name is Hjalmar Heijman, and I have been working at TFP MC Kinderwens since June 2017.

After twelve years as a fertility specialist in an academic centre, I made the switch to TFP MC Kinderwens to work in a specialised clinic. Everyone here is committed to fulfilling a wish that has often been cherished for a long time and I am happy to contribute to that. Although the goal is the same for everyone, every situation is different and I enjoy the challenge of finding the right treatment for each person.

The best thing about working as a fertility doctor is that you have an opportunity to make a difference in people's lives. Sometimes you only see people for a short period of time, but when a trajectory takes longer and there have been setbacks, it is an even greater reward to be able to look with people at the first images of their child.
